We are thrilled to announce that the Michael Levine Salon Group has been
announced as a finalist for North American Salon Team Of The Year! This is a huge honour, as we are now rated the top salon company
in Canada and in the top 5 in North America.
Our work was judged by fashion and beauty editors world-wide, as well as some of the most
legendary and best hairdressers in the world.
Our team's collection was art directed by creative director Alina Friesen.
Chrissy
Allan has won the Canadian Hairdresser Of The Year 2012- Student Category!!! Chrissy attended the Vancouver Hairdressing Academy,
graduating in 2010 before completing her apprenticeship at our Tao location. She is now a big part of our creative team and a Level 3
stylist at Space.
Big congratulations to Alina Friesen for her 3 nominations at the 2012 Contessas, for Canadian Hairdresser
Of The Year, BC Hairdresser Of The Year and Men's Hairdresser Of The Year!
Amber Turcotte is nominated for Makeover Colourist
Of The Year and Chrissy Allan is nominated for Student/ Apprentice Stylist Of The Year. Incredible achievements!
Our salon
company achieved a whopping 8 nominations, including Salon Team and Interior Design for Space. We have more nominations than
any other salon in Canada!
We're not saying we run the best salons in Vancouver (or Canada), the panel of international judges
sort of are though. No biggie.

space got together in our new photo studio, the Factory to shoot this year's Canadian Hairdresser Awards. Alina won an award last
year and we had 2 other semi-finalists. this year the work is just incredible and we have our fingers crossed.
